As a grandma living in this time of isolation, I am SO looking forward to being able to hug my grandchildren again. Like many others, we are using facetime technology to stay connected, but it’s really not the same. What a glorious day it will be when we can have our GRANDMA SNUGGLES again!
This is the title of my soon-to-be-released board book with Zonderkidz. If you’ve read God Made Mommy Special and God Made Daddy Special, you’ll recognize the familiar rhyming text. Grandma Snuggles features eight grandma animals with their little ones. Can you guess which grandma animal is featured below?
I have a snuggly grandma
God gave her silky fur.
And when she’s cuddling next to me
I love to hear her purr.
We stretch out in the sunshine
And have a lovely snooze.
